Virke has more than 25,000 member organizations and acts as the link between employers and the government. Their services include providing legal advice, tailored analysis, and industry communites to employers.
They saw the need to make relevant information on rules and regulations for employment and labor more available and engaing. They also saw that the topic of HR and employment law was something most employers dreaded to dive into and was seen as dry and tedious. Contract handling was also something that was processed manually by printing, signing and scanning, and was lacking systemization and overview.
Through design sprints together with Appfarm and the design agency EGGS, they started sketching out the plans for an application that used gamification to explore “islands” of labour laws and regulations.
